We Will Live Up to the President’s Trust

During President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit to Andijan Region, he became acquainted with the activities of our enterprise, including our project for intensive fish farming. The President’s visit and direct attention to our project were a source of great pride and encouragement for our entire team.
The project for intensive fish farming is being implemented as part of the execution of the Presidential Decree of July 2 this year, “On Additional Measures for the Development of the Fisheries Sector.” The main objectives of the project are to further develop the fisheries industry and provide fish farms across the Fergana Valley with trout fry.
With a total investment of 30 billion soums, the project involves the intensive production of 2.5 million fish fry and 200 tonnes of fish annually in specially designed ponds covering an area of 2 hectares.
The project has created 30 permanent jobs. In the future, the enterprise plans to export trout fry worth a total of US$2 million to Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
A laboratory has also been established at the complex to produce chlorella suspension, using a single-celled algae for biological water purification. Water treated with chlorella can help increase productivity by up to 15–20 percent.
The complex’s entire electricity demand is met by green energy generated through solar panels. Water discharged from the ponds, naturally enriched with ammonia, phosphorus and calcium, is not wasted but instead directed towards the irrigation of agricultural crops. This approach not only helps conserve water resources but also contributes to higher crop yields.
The use of these advanced technologies makes it possible to produce on just 2 hectares an amount of fish that would traditionally require a water body covering approximately 100 hectares.
The President personally reviewed the project and the work carried out at the enterprise, positively assessed its activities, and provided instructions and recommendations aimed at further increasing the project’s efficiency.
The President’s visit to our enterprise, our direct dialogue with him, and especially his positive assessment of our work have given me and the entire team additional strength, motivation and determination to work even more effectively.
Going forward, we will work with even greater dedication to live up to the trust and confidence placed in us, and to make a meaningful contribution to further strengthening the economic potential of our country.
