Driven by the high-level initiatives of the Presidents of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus, economic, industrial, and cultural partnerships between the two countries continue to expand dynamic paths. Highlighting this trend, a high-profile delegation from the Vitebsk Region of Belarus, led by Zhanna Sharando, Deputy Chairperson of the Economy Committee of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, arrived in the Andijan Region. Comprising executives from leading meat, dairy, and textile enterprises, the delegation was warmly welcomed at Andijan International Airport according to traditional Uzbek hospitality customs.
The visit directly follows the implementation of the bilateral "Roadmap" signed between the regions, prioritizing industrial co-investment and the development of new manufacturing links. The delegation split into two specialized working groups to explore Andijan’s robust industrial and agricultural ecosystems.
The textile and footwear group, which included prominent Belarusian brands such as "Trud-Vitebsk," "Lyubava LUX," "Belvest," and "Belvest Retail Moscow," visited the facilities of "BOBUR HBK" (producing denim and knitwear under the "DIROM Jeans" brand) and "DINAR GROUP" LLC in Andijan city. They also inspected the infrastructure and operational projects at the "Charm-Poyabzal" (Leather and Footwear) Small Industrial Zone in the Altynkuls District.
Simultaneously, the agro-industrial working group toured the "Bakht Imkon Rivoj Chorvasi" pedigree livestock breeding farm in the Altynkuls District, the renowned "RASHMILKY" dairy processing plant in the Buston District, a specialized cattle complex in the Sarijuga neighborhood, and the advanced poultry plant operated by "Baraka Hamkor Parranda" LLC in the Asaka District.
On the second day, the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a comprehensive exhibition and product catalog presentation by the Belarusian enterprises. Notably, JSC "Orsha Meat Packing Plant" introduced its high-grade organic canned meat products and dedicated children's nutrition lines, sparking significant interest among Andijan entrepreneurs during specialized B2B networking sessions. The itinerary concluded with a visit to the "Molochnaya Radost" dairy factory in the Andijan District and a cultural tour of Andijan city, successfully establishing a firm foundation for upcoming commercial and trade agreements.
