Roundtable Discussion Held on “New Uzbekistan Through the Eyes of Youth”

The event was aimed at helping newly admitted first-year students adapt to the higher education environment, familiarize themselves with the life of the institute, and encourage their pursuit of knowledge and personal development.
The open and engaging discussion brought together Furqatbek Nodirbekov, Adviser to the Rector on Youth Affairs, Muslima Abduqahhorova, recipient of the State Award named after Zulfiya, Obidakhon Yusupova, recipient of the State Scholarship named after Kamoliddin Behzod, as well as a group of active, motivated and initiative-driven young people of the institute.
During the roundtable, first-year students were introduced to the opportunities available in higher education, student life, quality education, academic and research activities, and participation in various competitions, projects and initiatives.
Particular attention was paid to the opportunities and conditions created for students to fully develop and demonstrate their talents, abilities and potential.
The participants also discussed reforms being implemented within the framework of the state youth policy, opportunities for young people to acquire modern knowledge and professional skills, expand their participation in science, innovation and community activities, and receive support for their ideas and initiatives.
The guests of the event — successful students and young mentors — shared their personal experiences and spoke about their achievements and path to success. They emphasized that continuous learning, determination, hard work, strong knowledge and the effective use of available opportunities are essential for achieving success.
First-year students were also encouraged to set clear goals, continuously work on themselves, develop new knowledge and skills, and take an active role in the life of the institute and society.
The students actively participated in the discussion and received detailed answers to their questions.
The roundtable provided a valuable platform for communication, experience sharing and motivation, helping first-year students adapt to the higher education environment and make the most of their student years.
