Andijan Regional Governor Shuhratbek Abdurahmonov held an online meeting with Wang Bo, Chairman of China’s CHINA CAMCE, via Zoom.
The meeting focused on major investment and infrastructure projects planned for implementation in Andijan Region, as well as further cooperation to advance these initiatives.
In particular, the sides reviewed a project to construct a drinking water treatment plant with a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters per day based on the Kampirovot water intake facility, as well as a 81.4-kilometre main water pipeline along the Xonobod–Asaka route.
The parties also discussed the establishment of the Andijan Transboundary Industrial, Trade and Logistics Centre, modernization of wastewater treatment facilities in Andijan city, and the construction of a modern central stadium in Bobur city.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to further expand cooperation on these projects, advance promising initiatives towards practical implementation and identify the next steps for joint action.
