The first batch of 20 tonnes of grapes grown in Andijan Region has been delivered to the Vitebsk Region of the Republic of Belarus.
The shipment marks a practical result of the agreements reached between Andijan and Vitebsk regions to develop and strengthen trade and economic cooperation.
The Belarusian market has received several varieties of Andijan grapes, including “Andijan Black”, “Husayni”, “Toifi”, “Mercedes” and “Kelin Barmoq”. The products were received by “Frutreal” LLC, one of the major importing companies in Belarus, and will be distributed through retail outlets in different regions of the country.
The agreements between the two sides cover the supply of agricultural products, including fruits and vegetables, investment cooperation and the implementation of joint projects.
The export of Andijan grapes to Belarus is an important step towards expanding access for locally produced agricultural goods to new foreign markets and strengthening direct trade and economic ties between the two regions.
