The event was organized on the initiative of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan, the Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, and other partner organizations.

The forum brought together representatives of the Committee on Religious Affairs and its regional departments, heads of “Promoter Groups” from the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regions, members of the Republican “Promoter Group”, as well as representatives responsible for women’s issues from relevant security and internal affairs bodies.

During the forum, participants discussed issues related to ensuring social, spiritual, and religious-educational stability, protecting women’s rights and interests, expanding their active participation in public life, and improving the effectiveness of awareness-raising activities.

It was emphasized that the main objective of the forum is to promote a healthy social and spiritual environment, especially among women, enhance their legal and spiritual awareness, prevent the influence of destructive ideas, and further improve mechanisms for supporting women and strengthening cooperation among relevant institutions.

Deputy Hokim of Andijan Region, Head of the Family and Women’s Department Nargiza Yunusova noted that the forum serves to strengthen social and spiritual stability among women, improve the quality of awareness activities, share best practices, and develop effective approaches in this area.

Within the framework of the forum, experts delivered presentations on preventing risk factors among women, improving work with individuals exposed to destructive ideas, strengthening healthy worldviews and ideological immunity among female students, as well as distinguishing reliable information from harmful content in the virtual environment.

Special attention was paid to expanding opportunities for women, supporting their initiatives, developing their educational and professional potential, increasing women’s participation in decision-making processes, and ensuring equal opportunities in all areas of public life.

Forum participants visited several mahallas in Andijan Region, where they became familiar with the activities of the “Mahalla Seven”, “Promotion and Return” groups operating under citizens’ self-governing bodies, and practical mechanisms for targeted work with women.

Following the forum, priority tasks were identified to strengthen interagency cooperation, improve the effectiveness of awareness activities, protect women’s rights and interests, implement gender equality principles, and further enhance the system of work with women.

During the forum, active promoters who made a significant contribution to ensuring social and spiritual stability, supporting women, and developing educational activities were recognized and awarded.

The forum, conducted in a meaningful and practical format, contributed to experience sharing, professional development of participants, and further strengthening of the system aimed at maintaining a stable social and spiritual environment.
