Andijan regional administration

The forum and gala concert, organized within the framework of Youth Month by the Andijan Regional Administration, the Youth Affairs Agency, and a number of organizations and institutions, created a true festive atmosphere for the young people of Andijan.

In Uzbekistan, broad opportunities are being created to support young people, ensure they receive quality education, acquire professional skills, and fully realize their potential. In particular, systematic efforts are also being carried out in Andijan Region to support and develop the younger generation.

Today, nearly 60 percent of the population of Andijan Region consists of young people under the age of 30. As throughout the country, special attention in Andijan is being paid to increasing the social and civic activity of youth, enhancing their intellectual potential, organizing meaningful leisure activities, addressing their challenges, ensuring employment, and developing youth entrepreneurship.

Thousands of active and dedicated young people from all districts and cities of the region took part in the opening ceremony of the youth forum and gala concert held under the slogan “Youth Will Build the New Uzbekistan!”. Andijan Regional Governor Shukhratbek Abdurahmonov and Director of the Youth Affairs Agency Alisher Sa’dullayev congratulated the participants on the upcoming Youth Day celebration.

They encouraged young people to make effective use of the wide opportunities created for them on the initiative of the President, to study well, learn professions, become skilled specialists in their chosen fields, and contribute to the development of their homeland.

— “I call upon the youth of our country and Andijan to be active and progressive in every field — education, sports, arts, and all other areas. I am confident that through your activity, knowledge, and potential, you will make a worthy contribution to the development of our country. As the President has emphasized, you will become the true builders of the New Uzbekistan,” said Andijan Regional Governor Shukhratbek Abdurahmonov.

Within the framework of Youth Month, the regional governor and the leadership of the Youth Affairs Agency awarded cash prizes and commemorative gifts to winners of various competitions and projects, active participants, as well as a group of young Andijan residents who have become examples for their peers through their dedication to the Motherland, exemplary conduct, culture, and patriotism.

— “During Youth Month, our young people actively participated in projects, competitions, and various events. These initiatives, which involved more than one million young people, served to increase their activity and strengthen their commitment to the development of the country,” said Akmaljon Tangriqulov, Head of the Andijan Regional Department of the Youth Affairs Agency.

The gala concert featuring famous artists and stars of the national music scene left young participants with unforgettable impressions.

The event concluded with a spectacular fireworks show.
