Memorandums Signed for Major Investment Projects in Andijan

Today, the regional governor Shukhratbek Abdurakhmonov held a meeting with Turkish investors who expressed interest in operating in Andijan.
During the dialogue, issues such as attracting foreign investment to Andijan region, establishing new industrial enterprises, ensuring employment for the population, and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, memorandums were signed for several major investment projects. In particular, plans include the construction of a flour production plant worth 15 million USD, as well as the establishment of textile, dyeing, and knitting enterprises valued at 60 million USD.
In addition, agreements were reached on the construction of multi-storey residential buildings in Andijan city and the New Andijan — Bobur city area, the production of chocolate and confectionery goods, and the establishment of a furniture factory worth 3 million USD.
These projects are expected to contribute significantly to the development of the regional economy, the creation of new jobs, and the improvement of the population’s well-being.
