Uzbekistan and Finland discussed the development of trade and economic cooperation

On September 5, 2025, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with the Special Representative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, the current Chairman of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Teri Hakala.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation. Particular attention was paid to preparations for the 6th meeting of the Uzbek-Finnish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, as well as other upcoming events at the highest and high levels.
The positive dynamics of trade growth in recent years was noted, and opportunities for expanding investment cooperation in such areas as green economy, energy, agriculture, geology, telecommunications, electrical engineering and education were identified.
