A Critical Meeting Was Held to Review the Results of Work Carried Out During the First Nine Months of the Year

During the meeting, the work carried out by the Inspectorate during the current year, as well as the errors and shortcomings identified, were reviewed and analyzed in detail.
At the beginning of the meeting, the effectiveness of mobile public receptions conducted in the regions, as well as the status of reviewing appeals received from business entities, were critically analyzed. Warnings were issued to officials of the territorial departments who had been slow to respond and failed to review appeals in a timely manner.
Relevant instructions were then given to strengthen preventive and awareness-raising activities among consumers aimed at preventing cases of illegal use of energy resources and promoting their efficient consumption, as well as to ensure the proper organization of energy audit activities.
Particular attention was also paid to the operation of energy facilities and the organization of regular inspections of these facilities.
At the same time, instructions were given to ensure that the Inspectorate’s control and chemical laboratories regularly conduct monitoring activities aimed at ensuring the supply of quality petroleum products to consumers.
The meeting also focused on the effectiveness of measures taken to prevent corruption in the sector and on priority tasks for the period ahead.
Relevant reports from officials responsible for the territorial departments were heard on the agenda items, and priority areas requiring particular attention going forward were identified.
