A Critical Meeting Was Held on the Effective Organization of State Control over the Use of Energy Resources

A critical meeting chaired by A. Isoqjonov, Head of O‘zenergoinspeksiya, was held to discuss the effective organization of state control in the energy sector, ensuring the rational use of energy resources, as well as the tasks to be implemented in the future.
The meeting was attended by responsible employees of the Inspection’s central office and all regional departments.
At the beginning of the meeting, particular attention was paid to the effectiveness of the work being carried out to prevent corruption in the sector, avoid conflicts of interest, and ensure transparency in control activities, as well as to the priority tasks for the future.
Subsequently, relevant instructions were given on preventing cases of illegal use of energy resources, strengthening preventive awareness-raising activities among consumers regarding the conservation of resources, and properly organizing energy audit activities.
Particular attention was also paid to reducing energy losses, improving energy efficiency, conducting an in-depth analysis of the causes of emergency outages and eliminating them, as well as widely introducing modern digital technologies and artificial intelligence capabilities into control processes.
In addition, the need to intensify control activities over the technical condition of gas distribution stations and automotive gas filling stations, as well as compliance with safety requirements in the use of liquefied gas and electricity, was noted. In this regard, particular emphasis was placed on ensuring strict compliance with the requirements of applicable regulatory and technical documents.
During the meeting, the responsible officials of the regional departments were given relevant instructions to approach each task with personal responsibility, further strengthen executive discipline, and establish systematic control over the elimination of identified problems rather than merely recording them.
At the conclusion of the meeting, reports from the responsible officials of the regional departments on the work being carried out and existing problems were heard, and appropriate measures were determined to ensure the timely, high-quality, and effective implementation of the assigned tasks.
