UzenergyInspectorate Holds Bilateral Meeting with the Delegation of the Republic of Korea

UzenergyInspectorate under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by Mr. D. Isakulov, held a bilateral meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Korea. The meeting was organized as a continuation of the practical dialogue initiated within the framework of the Energy Value Network Forum.
The meeting was attended by representatives of leading Korean organizations and companies in the fields of energy and innovative technologies, including KOWEPO, KOICA, KICC, APTN, Nuri Flex, DXG, SN, HPS, and GoodByeCar.
During the meeting, Mr Shin Yong Won, CEO of KICC, provided an overview of the ongoing cooperation projects with Uzbekistan, as well as specialist training and certification programs.
Mr Kim Yong, Director of APTN, introduced heat pump technologies and Smart City solutions, while Mr Han Jeonghoon, CEO of Nuri Flex, presented advanced technologies for energy consumption monitoring, smart metering, and digital energy management systems.
In addition, Mr Ham Hyong Seok, Department Manager at DXG, presented advanced air quality monitoring technologies; Mr Lim Chae Woong, CEO of SN, introduced artificial intelligence-based solutions for electric motors and generators; and Park Yong Ha, Head of Department at HPS, presented Waste-to-Energy technologies.
Furthermore, Mr Nam Junhee, CEO of GoodByeCar, introduced innovative solutions for the second-life use of electric vehicle batteries, including their application in Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and other practical applications.
Mr Wang Min Seok, Director of KOWEPO, also delivered a presentation on the company's activities in the energy sector and the prospects for expanding cooperation with the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, Mr. D. Isakulov, Head of UzenergyInspectorate, emphasized that Uzbekistan is rapidly expanding its renewable energy generation capacity. In this regard, he noted that one of the country's key priorities is the deployment of advanced technologies to ensure the efficient integration of renewable energy sources into the power grid and maintain grid stability and balance.
He further stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with Korean companies offering practical and innovative solutions in these areas.
Ms. Siyeon Kim, Deputy Director of KOICA, emphasized that the companies participating in the meeting are among the Republic of Korea's most advanced and reliable companies in the energy sector.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the implementation of advanced technologies in the energy sector, the integration of renewable energy sources into the power grid, experience sharing, and the further development of cooperation through the implementation of promising joint projects.
