Inspection for Control in electric power industry, oil products, and gas usage at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan

At the beginning of the meeting, a critical analysis was conducted regarding the effectiveness of on-site public receptions held in the regions and the status of reviewing appeals received from business entities. In this regard, warnings were issued to responsible officials of regional departments who allowed delays and failed to review appeals in a timely manner.
Following that, relevant instructions were given to prevent the illegal use of energy resources, strengthen preventive advocacy and awareness campaigns among consumers regarding resource conservation, and properly organize energy audit operations.
Special attention was also paid to operational activities at energy facilities and the organization of regular monitoring assessments at these sites.
Furthermore, instructions were issued for the Inspectorate’s chemical control laboratories to continuously carry out monitoring measures to ensure the supply of high-quality petroleum products to consumers.
The meeting specifically highlighted the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures implemented in the sector and outlined key priorities for the future.

At the conclusion of the meeting, reports from the responsible officials of the regional departments were heard.
