An extraordinary session of the District Council of People's Deputies was held today in Urgut district.

Acting Governor of Samarkand Region, Adiz Boboyev, participated in the session and spoke about the ongoing efforts and achievements in the socio-economic development of Urgut district.

During the session, an organizational matter was discussed. Botir Jabborov was relieved of his duties as Hokim (Governor) of Urgut district due to his transition to another position.

The regional leader proposed the candidacy of Dilmurod Bastamovich Sayidqulov for the position of Hokim of Urgut district. The candidate was unanimously approved by the deputies.

Prior to this appointment, Dilmurod Sayidqulov had been serving as the Deputy Prosecutor of Samarkand Region.

The regional leader outlined the tasks to be carried out in the socio-economic development of the district and wished the new Hokim success in his work.
