Currently, the Hokim of Ulugnor District, M. Akhmadjonov, is holding meetings with a number of foreign investors within the framework of the Korea–Uzbekistan Forum. In particular, during a meeting with Ms. Soo Hyun Kim, the founder of The L.Collection, the parties discussed investment opportunities in projects for the construction of a modern hotel in the district as well as the production of solar panels. The sides exchanged views on establishing mutually beneficial cooperation and agreed to hold further meetings in the future. Such meetings within the forum are expected to contribute to attracting foreign investment to Ulugnor District, creating new jobs, and further developing the region’s economy.
