At a practical seminar held at the district hokimiyat, the essence and significance of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 9, 2025, “On Additional Measures to Introduce Highly Efficient Intensive Agrotechnologies to Increase Productivity in Cotton and Grain Production,” were explained. The seminar focused on the introduction of water-saving technologies, repair and modernization of irrigation networks, proper nutrition of crops, formation of reserves of chemical agents to combat pests and diseases, accumulation of local fertilizers, as well as the readiness of seeders and other machinery for cotton sowing.
Recommendations were provided by District Hokim Sh. Qosimov, specialist of the Republican Farmers’ Council B. Mirzamova, Chairman of the Regional Council N. Kaimov, Head of the Regional Plant Quarantine and Protection Department A. Gapporov, and Head of the regional branch of “Agroleasing” JSC Sh. Turgunboev.
In conclusion, it can be noted that in 2026, along with other sectors, agriculture is also expected to undergo significant positive changes. The implementation of the outlined tasks will serve as a solid foundation for achieving high yields and sustainable development.
