Dilshod Kuryozov, Director of the Telecommunications Regulatory Agency, held a meeting with Dmitry Vetlugin, Head of Regulatory Affairs for Central Asia and Eastern Europe at Amazon Leo.
During the meeting, the possibilities of providing the population and business entities with high-speed, low-latency broadband internet through satellite technologies were discussed, especially in remote areas where traditional terrestrial telecommunications networks do not reach.
An exchange of views also took place regarding the development of digital infrastructure in remote areas through the implementation of these technologies, expanding public access to internet services, and increasing the efficiency of the digital economy and electronic government services.
