Agency for Regulation of Telecommunications of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The assessment covered the coverage and capacity of telecommunications services, service quality, the condition of communication infrastructure, as well as consumer service issues.

During the assessment, open discussions were held with local representatives and residents of Urgench and Gurlan districts to identify existing challenges and collect proposals. The concerns and suggestions of entrepreneurs were also reviewed during the meetings.

In addition, the operation of existing telecommunications networks and communication facilities in the region was examined. The appeals received from local industry representatives regarding the quality of communication and internet services, as well as measures being taken to address them, were analyzed.

Following the assessment, relevant recommendations and instructions were provided to responsible officials to address identified issues, improve service quality, ensure efficient use of existing infrastructure, provide residents with modern and high-quality telecommunications services, and strictly comply with licensing requirements and conditions.

These ongoing assessments are aimed at improving the quality and coverage of telecommunications services in the regions, developing communication infrastructure, and establishing a more convenient and efficient service delivery system for consumers.
