During his visit to Beijing, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a meeting with Xi Guohua, the head of the Chinese corporation CITIC. The International Chinese Investment Management Corporation (CITIC) is a leading company that provides financial services and engages in large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects, with assets totaling around $1.5 trillion. The meeting focused on expanding the joint project portfolio, particularly in the areas of road transport, engineering infrastructure and the modernization of irrigation systems in our country.
