Dear compatriots! A new year, 2024, is entering our fertile land. In these wonderful moments, I sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, congratulate our respected veterans, lovely women, representatives of all spheres and industries, purposeful youth, compatriots abroad - all our multinational people on this wonderful holiday. Dear friends! Of course, in life, along with joys and successes, there are also worries and problems. But man and people, thanks to their intellect, selfless work, and strong will, are able to overcome any challenge with dignity. The outgoing year 2023 has been successful for our country and people. The most important thing is that there is peace and tranquility in the country, an atmosphere of interethnic friendship and harmony. For the first time in our history, in a popular referendum, we adopted a new version of the Constitution of the country. We have begun to implement the Uzbekistan 2030 strategy, which determines our development for the future. Many large, authoritative forums were held at a high level. We have put forward important initiatives in the international arena. Ensured sustainable rates of economic growth. High-tech industrial enterprises, modern logistics and infrastructure networks, kindergartens and schools, cultural and sports facilities are being built in the republic. New jobs are being created. The appearance of our cities and villages is changing, the standard of living of the population is increasing. Thanks to the united work of our people, the dream of a New Uzbekistan is becoming a reality. I express my sincere gratitude to you, dear compatriots, for all the successes we have achieved. Dear friends! Our main task is to enhance the honor and dignity of a person, ensure the interests of the population and, for this purpose, build a strong economy. We declared 2024 in Uzbekistan as the Year of Support for Youth and Business. In the new year, we will intensify the attraction of foreign investment and the creation of broad opportunities for entrepreneurship and private property. We will pay special attention to the development of science, innovation, the IT sector, and the creation of “green” and digital technologies. The focus will be on creating new jobs and increasing incomes of the population. Wages, pensions, scholarships and benefits will be increased. We will continue to fully support women and members of the older generation, everyone who needs help and assistance. We will raise the development of the social sphere to a completely new level. The priority task will remain strengthening the independence of the Motherland and the combat potential of the Armed Forces. In a word, we will mobilize all our strength and capabilities to build a new life, a New Uzbekistan. Dear compatriots! Once again, I congratulate you on the New Year and wish you all health, peace and happiness. Let every family, every mahalla, our entire country prosper!
