Samarkand regional administration

From the supply of fabrics and equipment to full-fledged production cooperation. This approach to the development of cooperation between Samarkand region and Belarus was discussed as the main issue  of Adiz Boboev, with the chairman of the Bellegprom concern Nadezhda Lazarevich at the meeting. The conversation was held in the form of a video conference with the participation of the heads of leading textile enterprises of both sides. This allowed entrepreneurs to discuss the possibilities of direct cooperation without intermediaries. The necessary conditions for such integration have been created. Today, more than 600 enterprises operate in the light industry of Samarkand region, employing 16 thousand specialists. Production volumes are also growing steadily, increasing by 5% in a year. Now the main task is to convert existing potential into joint products. The meeting paid special attention to the issues of establishing production under Belarusian brands, deep processing of leather, increasing the export of yarn and thick cotton fabrics, as well as equipping factories in Samarkand with Belarusian equipment and digital technologies. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on the implementation of joint initiatives. The head of the region expressed his readiness to fully support and cooperate with all the identified projects at every stage, from the initial organizational stage to the release of finished products to the foreign market.
