Samarkand regional administration

The chairman of the council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional and Tashkent city governors are visiting the region to exchange experiences and get acquainted with major investment and infrastructure projects being implemented in the Tashkent region.

The first destination of the trip was the Charvak Gate. The guests got acquainted with the construction work carried out in the region, modern infrastructure solutions and projects aimed at increasing tourism potential.The guests were very interested in the experiences of the effective use of the natural resources of the region, the development of new tourist destinations and the construction of modern facilities. The next destination was the modern recreational center in the Bustanlik district - the “Ugam River” center. This facility, located in the mountains, on the banks of the roaring Ugam River, left a warm impression on the guests. During the visit, the comfortable conditions created in the center, the quality of services provided to guests, and the work being carried out in the areas of health and recreation were reviewed in detail. Ugam River located at an altitude of 950 meters above sea level is today becoming an attractive place not only for local residents, but also for tourists visiting from different regions of our country. The delegation members also got acquainted with the activities of the Za'faron hotel located on the territory of the Chimyon tourist complex, examined the conditions created for guests and the quality of services provided. As part of the visit program, the regional leaders will also get acquainted with the Chirchik chemical-industrial technopark operating in the city of Chirchik. It is planned to study the best practices implemented in the development of tourism, industry and investments at these facilities.
