Samarkand regional administration

Adiz Boboev, who is the governor of Samarkand region, has organized a meeting with representatives of the delegation led by Khoja Mohd Ashyaharim bin Abdullatifthe, the head of the Malaysian publishing house called “Nasrul Qur'an”.

At the beginning of the conversation, the regional governor touched upon the rich history of Samarkand, its history as a center of science, culture and spirituality, where many great thinkers, scholars and scholars have grown up. They also discussed the work being done today to preserve and protect historical heritage and promote the heritage of our ancestors. After that, the guests provided information about the activities of the publishing house “Nasrul Qur'an” in Malaysia, the Quran and hadiths published by the publishing house. It was also noted that it also operates in the fields of education, hotel services and food production. In addition, the guests expressed interest in opening a meat processing plant in Samarkand, noting that they see the region as a promising area for investments in this area. During their visit to Samarkand, the delegation members also visited the Imam Bukhari complex and said that they were impressed by the ongoing improvement work and creative projects. Ashyaharim bin Abdullatif expressed his desire to cooperate in the development projects of the complex and contribute to its further prosperity. Adiz Boboev noted that the number of tourists and pilgrims from Indonesia and Malaysia is increasing, touched upon the growing need for national cuisine and tourism services of these countries, and suggested considering the possibility of transferring the management of one of the hotels being built on the territory of the Imam Bukhari complex to Malaysian specialists. This will serve to create conditions for guests that are consistent with their traditions. At the end of the meeting, the parties discussed issues of further developing pilgrimage tourism, increasing the number of pilgrims, as well as strengthening cultural and economic ties between Samarkand region and various regions of Malaysia.
