Winners of the “Samarkand Marathon-2025” have been awarded

The main competitions of the traditional international charity marathon “Samarkand Marathon-2025” have ended.
Participants in the competition covered distances of 5, 10, 21.1, 42.2 kilometers. According to the results, in the 5-kilometer race, our compatriot Alisher Akhmatullaev was the first to reach the finish line in the men's race, and Darya Andropova in the women's race. In the 10-kilometer race, there was no equal to the Japanese Yuta Shitara in the men's race and the Russian Anastasia Slichenkova in the women's race. Russian athletes Rinas Ahmadeev and Sofya Kameneva won the 21.1-kilometer race. In the 42.2-kilometer race, Shohrukh Davlatov from Surkhandarya took first place. In the women's race, Kenyan Jacinta Chepkoyech was the first to reach the finish line. The marathon also saw winners in various age categories and among citizens with disabilities. The winners were awarded cash prizes and souvenirs.
