Combating Drug Abuse Is Everyone's Responsibility!

In particular, to ensure the implementation of the National Program approved by Decree No. PF–207 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 3, 2025, awareness-raising sessions were conducted with event participants as part of the large-scale operational and preventive campaign “Combating the Spread of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Among Young People,” being held in the Fergana Region in October 2026.
During the awareness campaign, representatives of the city administration and law enforcement agencies provided detailed information about the negative effects of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances on human health, mental well-being, and future prospects, as well as the legal liability established for offenses related to their illegal circulation.
The importance of protecting young people from harmful influences, organizing their leisure time meaningfully, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and developing strong resilience against various negative influences was also emphasized.
During the event, participants were provided with visual and educational materials illustrating the devastating consequences of drug abuse.
This preventive event contributed to improving young people's legal awareness, informing them about the dangers of drug abuse and other harmful behaviors, and strengthening their commitment to a healthy and safe life.
