City-Level Stage of the “Modern Professions” Competition Kicks Off in Quvasoy

Quvasoy City Mayor Zafarjon To‘raqulov attended the opening ceremony and wished the participants success.
In his speech, the mayor emphasized that Uzbekistan is paying special attention to developing the information technology sector, encouraging young people to pursue IT-related fields, and creating favorable conditions for acquiring modern knowledge and professional skills. He also noted that young people who master digital technologies, think creatively, and embrace innovation will be able not only to secure their own employment but also to contribute to creating new jobs in the future.
Young people aged 14 to 30 are competing in three categories:
• Graphic Design;
• Website Development;
• Mobile Content Creation (Mobilography).
Throughout the competition, participants' knowledge and practical skills in using modern information technologies, creative thinking, design, and digital content creation are being assessed.
The competition plays an important role in encouraging young people to spend their free time productively, guiding them toward professions in high demand in the labor market, unlocking their talents and potential, and supporting their future employment opportunities.
At the conclusion of the competition, the highest-performing participants in each category will be selected, and the winners and runners-up will receive awards.
