Automotive components manufacturing project progressing rapidly in Kuvasay

Mayor Zafarjon Turaqulov inspected the construction progress of a new enterprise being established in the Kuvasay branch of the Kokand Free Economic Zone in cooperation with South Korea’s Hansae Mobility.
As part of this $30 million investment project, the production of automotive components will be launched. At the initial stage, the enterprise is expected to create 120 new jobs, with more than 200 jobs planned in total. The project is scheduled to become operational in 2026.
The mayor reviewed the construction progress and gave the responsible officials relevant instructions and assignments to ensure that the project is completed on schedule and to a high standard.
