During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for further strengthening Uzbek–French cooperation, including the implementation of joint investment projects, the development of trade and economic relations, and the expansion of collaboration in energy, industry, transport, and tourism.
Between January and August 2025, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and France reached USD 991.2 million, up 18.5% year-on-year, driven by stronger cooperation in industry and the growing supply of French equipment and technologies for projects in Uzbekistan.
The importance of ensuring the effective implementation of the adopted “roadmaps” and the practical realization of agreements reached following high-level visits was emphasized. Minister Kudratov highlighted that Uzbekistan attaches particular importance to strengthening its strategic partnership with France and is keen to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation, including within the framework of the upcoming Intergovernmental Commission meeting and the joint business forum.
