Discussion on ways to implement joint projects with TİKA

It was also attended by Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction Behzod Musayev, First Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Ilkhom Norkulov, First Deputy Director of the Agency for Mahallabai Work and Entrepreneurship Development Mukhtor Shonazarov and other representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen economic and social ties between the countries, exchange experience, and develop new areas of cooperation in the field of economics, social sphere, and entrepreneurship.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Serkan Kayalar, expressing admiration for the reforms taking place in Uzbekistan, confirmed not only TİKA's interest but also its readiness to participate in these processes actively. It was noted that TİKA closely monitors the development of Uzbekistan, recognizing it as a key partner in the region.

An important aspect of the meeting was the discussion of plans to expand business support in Uzbekistan. It was noted that after the successful launch of consulting services in Bukhara, Surkhandarya, and Andijan regions, a significant expansion of this initiative is planned. The strategy provides for the opening of up to 100 business advisory offices throughout the country. This step aims to strengthen the economic potential of the regions, provide entrepreneurs with access to the necessary resources and information, and stimulate the creation of new jobs and the development of small and medium-sized businesses.

The intention was announced to expand cooperation in the field of water resources management and support projects aimed at the construction of environmentally friendly residential complexes in the Khorezm region.
