Prospects for cooperation discussed with representatives of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank

The meeting was attended by Hong Wei, Head of Client Relations at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Deputy Ministers of Economy and Finance Ilkhomjon Umrzakov and Samandar Sadullayev, along with other responsible officials.

During the dialogue, the parties discussed developing cooperative relations, ongoing projects and future plans, including accelerating projects aimed at infrastructure development. Specifically:

·       special attention was given to issues of development and modernization of the water supply system;

·       development of road infrastructure;

·       development of electricity and gas supply systems to the regions;

·       increasing energy efficiency, including the implementation of modern green heating systems in buildings with widespread use of energy-saving technologies;

·       effective utilization of public-private partnership (PPP) mechanisms.

At the conclusion of the negotiations, the parties agreed to strengthen mutual cooperation ties, expand the processes of exchanging views on the aforementioned issues, and conduct systematic and effective activities to achieve the designated goals.
