On April 29, 2025, a meeting was held in Tashkent between the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jamshid Kuchkarov, and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Mger Grigoryan.
The sides reviewed the outcomes of the 105th meeting of the CIS Economic Council, which was held for the first time in Uzbekistan at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and discussed prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation.
Mger Grigoryan thanked the Uzbek side for the warm hospitality and the high level of organization of the event.
The meeting also focused on increasing mutual trade. The parties emphasized the importance of utilizing the existing potential to enhance the current level of trade between the two countries.
To that end, both sides agreed to accelerate bilateral engagements.
