Fergana to Produce Tractors Under a National Brand

As part of this initiative, the Fergana Tractor Manufacturing Plant has been officially registered in partnership with Chinese collaborators. By the end of this year, tractors will be produced under the national brand “Tulpor”, featuring multiple models tailored to various agricultural needs. The plant will also integrate a 2-megawatt solar power system, ensuring self-sufficiency in electricity.

The project is designed in two phases. The first phase involves the construction of a tractor manufacturing facility, while the second phase will focus on producing spare parts and establishing technical service centers. To enhance production efficiency and product quality, Smart Technologies will be implemented throughout the manufacturing process.

Tractors will be supplied to both local and international markets, catering to the growing demand for modern agricultural machinery. In its initial stage, the plant is expected to create 250 new jobs, contributing to regional employment growth.

During the meeting, Governor Bozorov emphasized the importance of expediting the project’s launch in accordance with established standards and requirements. He provided key recommendations and instructed relevant officials to ensure effective collaboration in implementing the project successfully.
