An exchange of views took place with representatives of the French bank "Société Générale" on areas of cooperation

The meeting was attended by Teiba Guliyeva, Governor for the CIS regions of Société Générale Bank, as well as Deputy Ministers of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilhomjon Umrzakov and Umid Abidkhadjayev, and other responsible representatives.
For reference: Société Générale (SocGen) is one of the largest financial companies in France, founded in 1864. The headquarters is located in Paris. The main areas of activity of the bank are:
· French retail banking services: providing various banking services to local customers.
· International retail banking and financial services: customer service around the world.
· Global banking and investor solutions: services for corporate clients and investors.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed areas of mutual cooperation, including privatization and transformation processes, the development of a green economy, and public-private partnership projects. Specifically:
- Privatization and transformation: privatization processes of banks with state participation, transformation of enterprises with state participation;
- Capital markets: accelerating the processes of working with securities markets, Eurobonds, international ratings;
- Development of a green economy: the role of calling 2025 the "Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy" in our country in the development of this sector, increasing energy efficiency, creating a sustainable heating system based on modern and green technologies;
- Public-private partnership: projects implemented on the basis of PPP principles in the field of healthcare, education, energy, including the supply of electricity, were discussed separately.
Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to develop and strengthen mutual cooperation and carry out effective activities to achieve the set goals.
