At the beginning of the meeting, Tatyana Proskuryakova sincerely thanked Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov for his assistance in the development of the Country Climate and Development Report. She expressed her appreciation for the fruitful cooperation and emphasized that open relations have become the foundation for progress and achievement of important results.

At the meeting, information from the World Bank was presented on the projects under development planned for FY 2024. During the discussion, the portfolio of investment projects was reviewed and operational issues in the context of cooperation with Uzbekistan were considered.

Within the framework of the meeting, the main topics of discussion were issues related to the joint project on reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, as well as programs for the development of renewable energy sources. These projects represent important aspects in achieving sustainable development and environmental protection.

Following the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of transparency and openness in interaction. Both sides noted that the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the World Bank will continue to contribute to the development of the economy and social infrastructure of the country. The World Bank expresses readiness to cooperate and support Uzbekistan in achieving common goals for sustainable development and well-being of the country.
