Views were exchanged on prospects of cooperation with the Minister of Finance of the Kingdom of Bahrain

The meeting was attended by Khalid Humaidan, Chairman of the Central Bank of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mubarak Mattar, Assistant Deputy Secretary of State for Financial Affairs, and other responsible representatives.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in economic areas, including stimulating economic growth, formulating infrastructure projects, and collaborating with Bahraini financial companies. Specifically:

·      Special emphasis was placed on expansion of trade and economic relations;

·      Implementation of innovative approaches in the financial sector;

·      Experience of the Kingdom of Bahrain in applying advanced financial technologies;

·      The socio-economic reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan and their outcomes.

At the conclusion of the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation ties and to devise joint projects aimed at supporting economic growth.
