Construction of the "Buyuk ipak yuli (Great Silk Road)" special industrial technopark begins

Around 100 enterprises will be located in the park, focusing on areas such as electrical engineering, textiles, building materials, and pharmaceuticals. Over 12,000 new jobs will be created, and it is expected that products worth approximately $120 million will be exported annually, while goods worth $80 million will replace imports.

The construction of the project will be carried out in two stages. Since January of this year, construction work has begun on 13 hectares of land, including a two-story exhibition center, a three-story office, a logistics center, small refrigeration units, and transformer manufacturing buildings.

Recently, the governor of Tashkent region, Zoyir Mirzaev, visited the site to review the ongoing works. Additionally, instructions were given regarding the master plan of the special industrial zone and full provision with engineering and communication networks.
