Issues of strengthening national defense discussed

The Minister of Defense presented a report on the implementation of assigned tasks and measures aimed at enhancing combat readiness and efficiency, comprehensive training of military units and subdivisions, equipping them with modern weapons and military equipment, as well as improving the activities of the Uzbekistan Defense Industry Agency. 

The country’s leadership emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to comprehensively strengthen the army’s combat potential and the moral-psychological well-being of personnel, modernizing weapons and military equipment, and further developing defense industry enterprises.

It was noted that there is a need to increase the intensity of combat and operational training activities and improve the system of professional training for officer personnel and the engineering and technical staff of military enterprises. 

Following the meeting, the Head of state issued directives for further development of the Armed Forces and strengthening the country’s defense capabilities.
