The agreements reached during the State visits of the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Uzbekistan on June 5-6 of this year and Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, the head of our country, to Qatar on October 2-3, indicate the beginning of a new era of relations between the countries.

Particularly, it was emphasized that the memorandum of understanding between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the two countries, signed during the official visit of the head of our country to Qatar, will contribute to the development of cooperation in the field of law enforcement.

During the dialogue, issues related to strengthening the legal basis of relations between the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State of Qatar, fighting against crime, ensuring public order and security, as well as the prospects of bilateral cooperation, such as mutual exchange of experience and personnel training, were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, which was held in a friendly and constructive spirit, relevant tasks for strengthening relations between the law enforcement bodies of the two countries were determined.
