The Minister of higher education, science and innovation received the delegation of the British group to the Inter-Parliamentary Union

Minister Ibragim Abdurakhmanov and representatives of the department met with members of the delegation.

During the meeting, I. Abdurakhmanov spoke about the reforms being implemented in the field of higher and professional education, science and innovation in our country. He noted that our republic has created a legal framework for the development of these industries, and the “Uzbekistan-2030” strategy pays special attention to the development of human capital.

Karen Bradley gave a positive assessment of the activities of the University of Westminster in Tashkent and shared her point of view on the issue of introducing the experience of foreign higher education institutions into the state universities of our republic.

The parties also discussed environmental issues, in particular, growing crops in the era of climate change, rational use of natural resources, and expanding green spaces.
