On September 6, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Pulat Bobojonov and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the USA to Uzbekistan, Jonathan Henik, held a meeting in the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation between the internal affairs bodies of Uzbekistan and the US law enforcement agencies in strengthening the legal basis of mutual cooperation, combating crime, ensuring public order and security, sharing experience, and improving the qualifications of personnel.
Also, the ambassador expressed his readiness to contribute to further developing and expanding mutual cooperation in the field on behalf of the US diplomatic mission.
Following the friendly and constructive meeting, the sides determined relevant tasks for strengthening relations between the law enforcement bodies of the two countries.
