Agreements were reached to provide preferential and grant funding for projects focused on the modernization of the vocational education system and healthcare institutions, support for vulnerable population groups, environmental protection, and the enhancement of water supply systems.
A non-sovereign financing agreement was signed for projects related to modernization, innovation, export, corporate, and trade financing.
Steps were coordinated to deepen collaboration in education and to organize advanced training courses for Uzbek professionals, facilitating their future employment within German companies.
Additionally, meetings took place with executives from prominent German firms such as Edison Technologies, AMK Global, GessCon, Aurubis, HMS Bergbau, Hypercon Solutions, Binz Automotive, Ernst Klett, Siemens Healthineers, Rhenus Group, Linde, and ITEL.
Detailed plans were laid out for the execution of agreed-upon projects and new joint ventures in areas such as the chemical industry, geology, the manufacturing of medical devices and components for solar panels, construction materials, carbon fiber, and the establishment of cutting-edge logistics centers, following a high-level visit to Uzbekistan.
A mutual commitment was expressed to provide all-encompassing support to expedite the implementation of the projects discussed. Dedicated investment managers have been appointed for each German company, and a revised operational algorithm has been established between the MIIT, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Federal Republic of Germany, the German Federal Chancellery, and the Eastern Committee of the German Economy. This includes conducting regular video conference negotiations to ensure alignment and to take swift action on each project's implementation.
