Uzbekistan and Georgia discussed the development of strategic partnership

In Batumi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Bochorishvili.
During the conversation, issues of practical implementation of the agreements reached following the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Georgia on July 2-3 this year, as well as further expansion of strategic partnership relations were discussed.
The parties paid special attention to the prospects for implementing joint projects in the fields of trade and economic cooperation, transport and logistics, tourism, and education.
Views were also exchanged on cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
