Uzbekistan and Denmark are expanding partnerships

The Uzbek delegation was headed by Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev, while the Danish delegation was led by Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark.
The parties discussed expanding cooperation in industry, transport and logistics, energy, water management and agriculture, digitalization and financing. Particular attention was paid to equipment localization, development of terminal infrastructure, renewable energy, energy efficiency and modernization of water supply systems.
The discussion was attended by the management and representatives of the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO), as well as representatives of FLSmidth, Grundfos, Maersk, AVK International, Scan Global Logistics, Carlsberg and ByteAll Energy.
The business programme continued with B2B and B2G negotiations focused on advancing joint initiatives.
As a result, a Memorandum was signed between MIIT and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark on the establishment of a Bilateral Commission on Trade, Economic and Investment Cooperation.
