The meeting was attended by IMF Advisor on Tax Administration Georgiy Kandelaki, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Akhadbek Khaydarov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Committee Mubin Mirzayev, Director of the Department of Tax and Customs Policy and Revenue Forecasting of the Ministry of Economy and Finance Shokhrukh Safarov and other responsible representatives.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the large-scale reforms being carried out in our country, in particular, the improvement of the tax system within the framework of reforms, including regulation and further development of the sphere of tax administration, improving the quality of tax services, and the fight against the shadow economy.

During the conversation, the parties also exchanged views on issues of widespread implementation of advanced and successful global experience in the development of tax administration, including digital technologies, as well as cooperation in this area.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to develop and expand mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as to carry out systematic activities to achieve the set goals in the above-mentioned areas.
