Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan met with the UN Secretary-General for Central Asia

On September 4, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Central Asia, Head of UNRCCA Kaha Imnadze.
It was noted that Uzbekistan appreciate the continued support of the UN and its missions of all Central Asian states to consolidate their efforts for common prosperity, including in Afghanistan.
The parties also highlighted that there has not been a better time to stand together and move forward, tackle all the challenges in the region, and create the most favorable conditions so that future generations can enjoy the outcomes of what is being done today.
