Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting in New Delhi with the Special Representative of the President of the United States for South and Central Asia, Ambassador Sergio Gore.
During the dialogue, the parties emphasized the consistent development of Uzbek-American strategic partnership relations in all areas. A thorough exchange of views also took place regarding the further intensification of contacts at the highest and high levels, as well as priority areas of bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, issues of interaction within the C5+1 format, preparations for upcoming joint events, as well as topical issues on the regional and international agenda were discussed.
Following the talks, the parties confirmed their mutual commitment to consistently continuing the open and trusting dialogue between Uzbekistan and the United States, as well as further expanding practical cooperation.
