During the conversation, it was noted with satisfaction that cooperation in PPP projects between the two countries has been growing at a high pace in recent years, and views were exchanged on the prospects for the implementation of new PPP projects in Uzbekistan.

In addition, the agreements reached at the Uzbek-Turkish business forum held on June 5 this year in Ankara, the work being carried out on them and the tasks for the future were discussed.

For reference: in 2017-2023, the number of business entities trading with Turkey in Uzbekistan doubled and amounted to about 5,200. These companies operate in such areas as energy, construction, textiles, tourism, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, agriculture, construction materials production.

During the discussions, interest was expressed in the projects planned to be implemented by the company, such as the construction of toll roads and tunnels, and details were considered.

At the end of the meeting, specific plans for cooperation on the proposed projects were determined. An agreement was reached to further intensify mutual consultations on the implementation of projects.
