During the meeting, the parties noted with satisfaction the consistent development of multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia. In particular, it was emphasized that healthcare is one of the important and promising areas of practical cooperation between the two countries.
The discussions focused on further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the sector, enhancing the effectiveness of ongoing and planned healthcare projects, as well as expanding their scope and coverage.
The parties paid particular attention to advancing cooperation in the digitalization of the healthcare system, introducing modern information technologies and innovative solutions, and implementing public-private partnership projects in the healthcare sector.
The sides also exchanged views on making effective use of available opportunities, further improving the quality of medical services through the study and application of advanced international practices, training qualified healthcare professionals, and enhancing the professional knowledge and skills of specialists.
Special attention was given to attracting Saudi Arabia’s investment, technological and managerial expertise, strengthening direct engagement between private-sector representatives of the two countries, and jointly developing promising projects.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation, strengthen direct contacts between relevant institutions and specialists, and jointly develop specific and forward-looking projects.
