Strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting discussed a wide range of issues in politics, trade and economic cooperation, investment, high technology, and other priority areas.
Particular attention was paid to the full and timely implementation of agreements at the highest level, as well as increasing the effectiveness of economic diplomacy. Views were also exchanged on cooperation within the framework of the UN, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the "Central Asia - China" mechanism, and other multilateral structures.
Readiness was expressed to mobilize all necessary efforts to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the countries under any conditions.
