Uzbekistan and Japan strengthen cooperation in the field of architectural design

The Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held a meeting with Ryuichi Kizumi, Executive Director of the Japanese architectural and engineering company Nikken Sekkei.
The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in architectural design and urban planning. They reviewed opportunities to introduce advanced engineering solutions in the implementation of investment projects in Uzbekistan. The high potential for applying the company's expertise in designing social and transport infrastructure facilities was emphasized.
The Japanese side confirmed its readiness to participate in the development of architectural concepts for social, transport and public facilities, as well as to transfer modern design technologies.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to maintain close cooperation and continue joint work on developing specific project proposals.
